Small, mushy stuff across the Southeast this morning — 2-foot sets at 7 seconds from the SE, so nothing to write home about, but it's building. Your best bets are Avon Pier, Ocracoke, and The Point Buxton (all ★1.5), where light cross-offshore winds are keeping faces a touch cleaner than the onshore mess hitting Wrightsville and Carolina Beach. Expect faces to add another foot or so over the next 24 hours, and if that trend holds through the weekend there could be something more workable to chase by day two or three.
